Firearms and Vets

Firearms mean a great deal to veterans, especially TEXAS veterans. The right to bear arms and self-defense is unalienable.

This makes it challenging during times of crisis, and if you are a family member who is unfamiliar with guns, this makes it even harder, but it doesn’t have to be.

There are ways of mitigating disaster, managing stress, and working through trauma.

Give us a call, or visit www.tx2step.org for ideas.

Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant

We are partially funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant.

SSG Fox SPGP honors Veteran Parker Gordon Fox, who joined the Army in 2014 and was a sniper instructor at the U.S. Army Infantry School at Fort Benning, Georgia. Known for a life of generosity and kindness to others in need, Fox died by suicide on July 21, 2020, at the age of 25.

This allows us to provide services to our community with the goal of directly helping veterans in need.

Call us, email us, or contact us via our intake portal to speak with our staff today. You can even contact us if you are a veteran’s family member or loved one to help with their situation.
