Master Level Clinician (LPHA-Associate, LPC-Intern, LMSW) with Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT)

The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) Rapid Response team provides community-based crisis intervention and post hospitalization follow up to children and adults experiencing a mental health crisis.  MCOT Rapid Response is an expansion of the MCOT program.  This program includes 18 Crisis Teams. 

Under the general direction of the Unit Director or designated staff, Crisis Teams composed of a LPHA/MLC (LMFT/LMFT-A, LCSW/LMSW, LPC/LPC-A) and Care Coordinator (Bachelor Level Clinician) respond to mental health crisis callsin the field whenThe Crisis Call Diversion counselorsat the 911 Houston Emergency Center send a referral.Crisis Teams complete crisis assessments, safety plans, and if individuals need a higher level of care, transport voluntary individuals to psychiatric hospitals for treatment.Crisis Teams will also provide post hospitalization follow up, submit referrals for linkage, and provide education on mental health services to members of the community.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Must be in a two-year program of clinical supervision (post Master's degree) with intern (temporary) licensure credentials for LPC Intern, LMSW, or LMFT-A.

  • If LMSW must provide proof of current supervision for licensure.

  • Must have valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.

Compensation based on experience

*Language Stipend available $2,000 Sign On Bonus

*Shift Stipends:  PM shifts $5,000 stipend, Overnight shifts $6,000 stipend.
