Under the direction of the Case Manager Supervisor, the Coordinator will help navigate community programs and resources related to three main issues; Homeless, Suicide Prevention and Justice Involved Veterans. This role will be relied upon to successfully reintegrate Veterans, assist in organization development, program measurements and ensure standards of excellence as the role is forward facing within public and community settings.

This professional staff position helps build and maintain relationships with individuals, public and private sector community institutions and nonprofit organizations in order to identify community needs, develop approaches to meeting needs, and ensure successful implementation of United Way Community Outreach efforts in the community.

The Specialist is primarily responsible for delivering quality, professional information, referrals and consultation on health and human services to individuals in need of assistance.

Under general supervision, responsible for the updating and maintenance, as well as ensuring the quality of COVID-19 community resource information contained in the 211 resource database.
